Six years ago today....

Oh high school.

C & I were driving to our high school for registration for our senior year. We'd spent the whole summer working, and swimming, and eating pizza, watching movies, and driving to Austin for the day. All perfect things for high school students to do.

But C made a detour, and took me to the spring in Landa Park in New Braunfels. And he asked me to be his steady girlfriend.

Cute right?

I said yes. Because we'd been talking about "going steady" all summer. And we had decided to wait to kiss until we'd made an actual commitment, because I'd never kissed anyone before and didn't want to just throw it away.

So, as soon as I said yes, I got my first kiss ♥

It was wet and gross and weird. But perfect. He's still the only guy I've ever kissed.

Oh to be in high school again.
